For INC’s new co-working space in a historic building, Volver developed and delivered bespoke rugs in close collaboration with I-D. Interior Architecture and Design.

Our approach was not to “add rugs” — but to strengthen the spatial identity through the floor.

At the entrance, a round rug inspired by Art Deco geometry welcomes visitors. Its form subtly echoes the building’s grand arched glass doors, creating an immediate dialogue between architecture and interior. Paired with vintage elements, the entrance feels both refined and inviting.

In the central social zone, two custom rugs define the heart of the office. Designed to function either together or separately, they allow flexibility depending on use. Deep red and mustard tones create warmth, grounding the space while adding energy and character.

At Volver, we see carpets as architectural tools — shaping movement, defining zones and supporting long-term performance. From concept development and spatial logic to material specification, custom design and delivery, we work closely with architects to ensure the floor becomes an integrated element of the interior.

Because the floor is never just background.

It is structure, atmosphere and identity — quietly working every day.
