We are proud to develop a special tailored carpet concept for The Thief hotel lobby in collaboration with interior architect Karianne Solem at Mellbye Architecture & Interior.
The Thief lobby comes to life after a renovation that brings more colors, textures and openness to the first floor, uniting the entrance, reception and bar in one flowing space. The rugs developed especially for this complex architecture add character, lightness and color.
The design is inspired by the retro references of the iconic Scandi design. The pattern is especially adjusted in colors to different areas, such as bar, lounge, and the reception.
In this concept we both developed wall-to-wall carpets in HD Print on durable PET base and a more exclusive large handtufted rug for the reception with different textures and pile heights in pure NZ wool.
