Frame Brown
Frame Brown
Frame
Frame is associated with Chanel brand, although it is originally a traditional Scottish pattern. Chanel's use of the plaid pattern traces back to the 1920s when Coco Chanel, influenced by her time in Scotland, incorporated Scottish tweeds and plaids into her collections. She reimagined these traditionally masculine fabrics into elegant, comfortable women's fashion, with the plaid tweed suit becoming iconic.
Karl Lagerfeld, who took over Chanel in 1983, revived and modernized plaid, experimenting with colors, textures, and proportions, ensuring its continued relevance. Today, plaid remains a staple in Chanel's collections, symbolizing the brand's blend of tradition and innovation in fashion.
Volver seeks to reinvent this fashion iconic pattern with a new twist of pattern gradients, playing with the variations of the plaid elements. The rug also has architectural quality with horizontal and vertical orientation, making it easily suitable for modern minimalistic interiors. Volver preserves the textural quality of Chanel´s plaid textiles, combining both an open pile in bamboo silk and a loop pile in various woolen yarn shades.
